Can I attend If I Have No Upholstery Experience?

Absolutely. This retreat is designed for people who may have never touched a chair to learn step-by-step the process of upholstery. So if you have no or low experience with upholstery, this experience is tailor-made for you.

What Do I Wear to the Upholster Chairs?

Because of the nature of the work we will be doing, it is strongly advised that you wear closed toe-shoes, pants or leggings and a comfortable fitting t-shirt. You will be handling staples and sharp tools. You may bring gloves if you would like.

Will I Get To Keep the Chair I Work On?

Yes. You can opt to keep the chair, or you can leave it for Nicole and the chair will be donated to a local non- profit.

How Do I Get to the Retreat?

The exact location and directions for the retreat will be emailed once you have registered. Free street parking will be available. Please see more details on transportation to and from the retreat here.

Will Meals be Provided?

Lunch and light breakfast provisions will be provided on site, and dinner will be coordinated at a local restaurant. All meals and beverages are covered in your registration.

Will Parking be Available?

Street parking will be available on the grounds of the retreat.

How Many Attendees Will The Retreat Host?

To ensure we can provide a hands on and intimate experience, the workshop is open to 5 individuals only.

Will I Have My Own Room?

Our venue comes equipped with 6 bedrooms. As the retreat is set up for 5 attendees including Nicole, everyone will have their own bedroom. The house also comes equipped with two bathrooms.

Will Transportation To and From The Retreat Be Coordinated?

Transportation will not be coordinated. Attendees will be responsible for coordinating their own flight, car rental and/or hotel arrangements if needed.

Can I Attend the Workshop With a Friend?

Absolutely! You can buy multiple tickets so that you are able to attend with a friend or family member.

Is There A Payment Plan for Registration?

At this time no payment plan option is available

I would like to partner with the upholstery workshop and offer some services. How do I get in touch with you?

If I am Unable to Attend after Registering Are Tickets Refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, they are transferable. If you are unable to attend the workshop retreat for whatever reason, you are welcome to sell your ticket to another person who wishes to attend. If you have any questions, please e-mail Nicole at crowder.nicole@gmail.com prior to registering.

Can I Swap My Workshop for A Future Date If I Can No Longer Attend My Initial Date?

If a future workshop has not sold out within two days of that class occurring, yes. You must notify Nicole in advance that you can no longer attend your initial date purchased and that you would like to attend a future session. The notification does not guarantee you a space in the desired future class.

Are You Planning To Offer any Summer of Fall Sessions?

Yes! Dates for June, August, November and December will be made available.
